DIY pill organizer

edit: this pill organizer isn't actually very convenient, the paper lids don't close very well after a lot of opening and closing... So this would be good for some small objects that you don't need every day...

My mother got prescribed some pills and since she always has a lot on her mind, she sometimes forgets whether she has taken her medicine that day or not.
I decided to make her one of those weekly pill organizers and since I couldn't find any tutorials on how on how to make one, I decided to try it myself.

After a whole day of thinking, drawing, cutting, folding and gluing, here's what I had:

As always, a huge mess on my table...

But surprisingly also a decent pill organizer!

So now I'll try to show you how I made it.
First of all, here's a printable file (size a4, right-click and open image in a new tab, then save) that should be printed on the other side of a decorative paper (slightly thicker than copy paper):

The black lines are where you should cut and the grey ones where you should fold

The glue goes where the X-s are:

Now this time put glue on the decorative side where these X-s are

Now gently fold the covers aaand you're done!
